Questions are welcome.

A few answers about getting started and working together.

Getting started

What do you mean by abundance?

Your own picture of a fulfilling life. The people, experiences and freedom that matter to you give the financial plan direction.

Who do you work with?

I work with physicians, incorporated professionals, business owners and families. The first conversation helps establish fit and the services available in your province.

What should I prepare, and what happens first?

Bring your questions, priorities and any upcoming decision or deadline. You do not need financial knowledge or a complete set of records. We discuss what would be useful, whether the services fit and the possible scope and compensation before proceeding.

Working together

How do reviews and communication work?

We agree on review timing and communication for your engagement. Reviews do not mean continuous monitoring. Contact me when circumstances or deadlines change; we can consider an earlier review. Response timing depends on the work agreed. Confirm urgent instructions directly.

Can I ask questions or revisit a recommendation?

Yes. We can revisit its purpose, alternatives, costs and risks. Ask for a different explanation or pace whenever it would help. A recommendation does not authorise an account, investment or policy change; implementation needs your verified instructions and the relevant documents.

Will I need to move my accounts?

We begin by understanding your situation. Proposed changes require the relevant review, documentation and your instructions.

What happens after we agree on a plan?

We document the direction, identify responsibilities and coordinate approved actions through the relevant firms and professionals. We agree on review arrangements for the engagement.

Advice and practical details

How do personal finances, corporate wealth and tax fit together?

We consider household needs, business obligations, retained capital, investments, protection and retirement together. Tax efficiency is considered alongside risk, costs and access to money. Your accountant provides tax advice.

How do insurance and investments work together?

Investments help fund future goals. Insurance can address financial risks to your family, income or business. Considering them together helps clarify protection, affordability and access to money.

Can you work with my accountant or lawyer?

Yes, within the agreed scope and with your authorisation. Tax, legal and accounting opinions come from appropriately qualified professionals. Each remains responsible for their own work.

Are projected results guaranteed?

No. Projections depend on assumptions and may change. Investments carry risk. Insurance benefits depend on the contract; any product guarantees are identified separately.

How will I know the scope, fees and compensation?

Before work begins, we agree on services, deliverables, costs, compensation, responsibilities and review arrangements. Applicable investment charges, insurance compensation, referral compensation and material conflicts are explained in the required disclosures. Additional work needs an agreed written change.
